How to Tell if Your Windshield is Repairable

Cracks and chips in the windshield are only repairable if they are smaller than 6 inches. If a crack is six inches or larger, you will need to replace your windshield. A crack over six inches compromises the integrity of the windshield which is why you would need a new windshield instead of just a repair.
